Refunds
Refunds will be paid within a maximum of 10 business days following acceptance by Hand Winch NZ Limited (and notification to the buyer) of the validity of the return claim. A bank account maybe requested for direct deposits. No refund will be given for 'change of mind' purchases, so please choose carefully before you progress your payment.
Returns
Returns of non-faulty items require proof of purchase and goods must be couriered back to Hand Winch NZ Limited in unopened, unused, resalable condition in original packaging with all manuals and accessories, within 30 days. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If your return qualifies, we'll happily provide you with an exchange or refund.
If your item is faulty this policy does not apply, instead you will be eligible for remedy under the warranty policy.
Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA)
If you are acquiring goods for business purposes (see sections 2 and 43 of CGS), you agree that the consumer guarantees provided for in the CGA will not apply to the supply of those goods.
Warranty
We have a 12 month warranty on the More Power Puller®, as long as it has been operated following the product guidance material. Our standard warranty process is as follows. Warranty claims are treated on a case by case basis.
1. Contact us for warranty claims and provide all relevant information. We will either need photos or verification of the issue.
2. For minor defects (repairable) we will either send replacement parts or ask you to courier the item to Hand Winch NZ Limited for repair.
3. For major defects (not repairable) we will either replace the item or offer a refund.
Warranty exception may apply in the case of damage to or misuse of the item. This includes negligent operation, inadequate maintenance or un-authorised repairs.
This warranty policy does not cover any breakages of the AmSteel®Blue synthetic rope due to misuse, outside of product guidance (for example, due to fraying of the rope by running across exposed rough surfaces under load, or not correctly using the pully/snatch block).
