28 m of 12 strand 10mm UHMWPE synthetic rope used to extend the distance from an anchor point to the winch. This line has an average breaking strength of 20,500 pounds (9,300 kg).

To shorten the rope length when winching, either run less of the winch rope out, or tie a bowline knot (instructions included) along the desired length of the extension rope. The bowline knot can reduce rope breaking strength by an estimated 30-50% (4650 - 6,500 kg). One end of the rope is spliced with protector, the other end is free.
